Waterford Boat Club has been based in our city since 1878. At almost 150 years old, it is the oldest sports club in the city and we are proud to say, one of the original founding members of Rowing Ireland. We have a deep history in the city and would attribute our survival to the generosity of our local members and businesses.

Castleconnell Regatta [Limerick]

Commercial Regatta April 2019
Waterford Boat Club travelled to Dublin’s Commercial Regatta on Sunday 7th of April. A two lane, 1200-metre course, this regatta makes for close exciting racing. The rowing regatta season is in full swing with Waterford Boat Club representatives travelling to the Lee (Cork), Castleconnell (Limerick) and Carlow regattas in recent weeks.
